Lamy is a family-run company which has remained young and independent even though it has a long tradition. With an annual production of 8 million writing instruments, Lamy is a market leader in Germany. It's no wonder its products have a special position worldwide. Lamy have applied the creative concept "form follows function" in their design approach. They have focused on providing innovative technical or novel design solutions. These solutions have always increased the practical value of their pens and enabled them to fulfill their function in a more "intelligent" way. As a result their pens are unique and highly-distinctive products which are eminently useable. Since this design philosophy has been applied to all Lamy creations, there is a commonality between their products. Nevertheless, this consistency of style does not result in a monotonous range of writing instruments. Instead, they have created a wide range of product lines, all recognizable by their individual characteristics.
The
Lamy Accent pens are superbly crafted and come in three high quality finishes.
The grip sections are interchangeable and are very easy to exchange for
another either when you purchase it or later.
The
Spirit is formed from a flat piece of metal which is meticulously stamped,
bent, folded and rolled to create it's distinctive shape. It's remarkable
lightness and strength makes this a popular choice for diaries, notebooks,
organisers, etc.
These
Lamy multisystem pens may contain a ballpoint pen, propelling pencil and
a marker pen in an instrument with a diameter of around just 12 mm (eraser
included!). An ideal pen for ensuring that you always have the right writing
instrument for every occasion.
As
you can see from the photo, the Lamy Scribble is noticeably shorter and
chubbier than most other writing instruments. This distinctive shape makes
it the instrument of choice for many architects, designers, planners and
other creative professionals. The Lamy Scribble is available as a ballpoint
pen and as a propelling pencil, with either a 0.7mm or a wide 3.15mm lead.
An
avant garde form has helped ensure the Lamy Safari's popularity since
the 1970s. It is constructed from extremely hard-wearing ABS plastic and
has a sprung bronze wire clip. Home | News | Pen Selector | Pen Care | Contact Us © 2002 The Edinburgh Pen Shop. E&OE. All rights reserved. Privacy Policy |
