Fisher - engineered for better writing

In 1967, after 18 months of rigorous testing by NASA, the Fisher Space Pen was provided to the Astronauts because it was the only pen that would write over fingerprints, under water, upside down, on Matt black Fisher Bullet penwet paper, in freezing cold (-30°F), in extreme heat (+250°F) and in the gravity-free vacuum of Space.

Unlike ordinary ball pens which rely on gravity to feed ink, the Space Pen's replaceable cartridge is continuously fed to the tungsten carbide ball, allowing the user to write at any angle, even upside down. The solid gel thixotropic ink allows the pen to write smoothly and dependably.

Unconditionally guaranteed to provide outstanding service both here on Earth and in Space, Fisher Space Pens are truly engineered for better writing.
